Sticky Chicken
Here is another very Cajun recipe, which I learned from watching my Granny cook. Some people call it sugar chicken, and it involves making a caramel, which turns into a sweet-savory sauce that coats the chicken. When you pull the meat out of the pan, it will look like there's food scorched to the bottom, but don't try to scrub it away before proceeding with the recipe. That is tons of flavor, which will pull off the pan while cooking the vegetables.
