Sausage and Green Bean Casserole

This is similar to a classic green bean casserole but turned into dinner. I always use my cast iron skillet because you can transfer it straight from the stovetop to the oven, but if you do not have an oven-safe pan like that, cook everything in your skillet, then scrape it into a casserole dish before baking. You can use either fresh or frozen green beans here, but do not use canned ones. They will turn to mush.

This recipe is from my “Dinner and a Little Bit More” cookbook which includes 77 recipes your family is sure to enjoy. While you are shopping, you can check out my “Krockpots to Kasseroles” cookbook that features 71 easy to make dinner recipes.
