Whipped Feta and Bacon Dip

If you've never tried whipping feta before, it is a miraculous way to transform the crumbly, tangy cheese into a silky-smooth, creamy dip! I like to cut some of the feta with cottage cheese, which makes the flavor a little softer and better balanced. And in the bacon topping, use maple bacon rather than plain bacon, because the combination of salty and sweet is what makes the dip so good!
