Sautéed Asparagus
When I was a kid, the only asparagus I knew of was the kind that came out of a can, because that's how my dad ate it. Let's just say I was not a fan! But once I learned how to cook it fresh, until it's fork-tender rather than mushy and stringy, it made a world of difference. Cooked this way with butter and garlic, asparagus is the one vegetable that the entire family will enjoy!
