Why is it still 900 degrees outside? It’s September, and I’m more than ready for a cool front and some cozy fall weather! While I wait, I’ve been tackling a deep clean around the house after all our summer activities, because you know what that means… it’s almost time to pull out the pumpkins and start decorating for fall!

This email is all about this week’s recipe schedule, but I also wanted to let y’all know I’ve got some fun new content coming your way! Along with recipes, I’ll be sharing cleaning videos, holiday decorating, and even some day-in-the-life style videos. I’ve also got a fundraiser for the football team coming up that I can’t wait to share with y’all!

Recipes and Schedule

Tuesday 9/2 Hot Honey Sausage and Vegetables

1.5 pounds smoked or andouille sausage

1.5 pounds baby potatoes

2 red bell peppers

12 ounces sliced carrots (I used the frozen)

16 ounces diced sweet potatoes

1 1/2 sticks butter

1 cup hot honey

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

2 tbs light brown sugar

Cornbread for serving (optional)

Wednesday 9/3 Lemon Ricotta Ravioli with Mushroom and Sundried Tomato

2 bags frozen ravioli (I used the Bettergoods Lemon Ricotta)

8 ounces baby bella mushrooms

2 cups fresh spinach

3 ounces butter (I used the Bettergoods garlic parmesan basil butter)

1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes

Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Thursday 9/4 Poor Woman Steak and Potato

3 pounds baby potatoes

2 to 3 pounds of beef stew meat

1 stick butter

Minced garlic

Olive oil (for potatoes)

Season to taste with steak seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper

Friday 9/5 Sausage and White Bean Soup

1 pound of Jimmy Dean sausage

3 cans Canelli beans

4 cups chicken broth

3 cups water (add less if you want a thicker soup)

16 ounces diced butternut squash

2 leeks

1 yellow onion

Minced garlic

Season to taste with ground thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper

Sometimes I add fresh spinach or kale to this soup
