It’s officially time for Christmas recipes! All December long, I’ll be sharing my family’s favorite Christmas goodies and snacks. We’re kicking things off this week with snacks, followed by a full week of dips and then a week dedicated to desserts.

Monday 12/1 Sausage and Cheese Balls

1 pound Jimmy Dean or Tennessee Pride breakfast sausage

1 1/2 cups Bisquick

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Tuesday 12/2 Mississippi Trash Mix

2 cups corn Chex

2 cups rice Chex

2 cups mini pretzels or pretzel sticks

2 cups Cheeze-Its

2 cups Cheerios

1 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts

1 stick butter

1 tbs Tobasco

2 tbs Worcestershire sauce

1/4 tsp celery salt

1/2 tsp garlic salt

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Wednesday 12/3 Firecrackers

4 sleeves saltine crackers

1 cup canola or vegetable oil

2 tbs crushed red pepper

1 packet Italian dressing seasoning

1 packet ranch seasoning

Thursday 12/4 Sausage and Puff Pastry Pinwheels

1 packet puff pastry

1 pound smoked sausage

2-3 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Friday 12/5 Candied Cranberries

12 ounces cranberries

2 cups powdered sugar

Sprite to cover and soak cranberries over night (can sub for orange juice or cranberry juice)
